Free Star Olympiapark by Frederic
While walking the Olympiapark to test my new Canon EOS R, I came across these two acrobats from Munich. They were training in the park and enjoying the wonderful weather at the same time. Another moment of “Lebensgefühl” in Munich. This routine is called “free star”.
Sunset with Alps by Frederic
I went to the Olympiapark on the last day of 2017 and was rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of the alps. And then the sun sets and gives you this kind of impression. Pure joy.
Olympic Grey by Frederic
Digging through some older photos, again. Some of my first shots from the Olympiapark in Munich, Germany.
This blog will turn 20 this year, amazing. Everything started with a text editor and the original URL www.web-fred.de. Time goes by. Enjoy!

Another park one needs to visit when in Munich: The Olympiapark where the 1972 Summer Olympics took place. You can visit the “Olympiastadion (which used to be the home of FC Bayern München) for 3,-€. You can also have a guided tour of the pavilion-roof construction, which is 41,-€, or you rent a boat on the “Olympiasee”. You can of course also visit the Olympia-Eissportzentrum (home of the EHC Red Bull München), the Olympiaturm, Sea Life München or simply climb the olympic mountain to take some panoramic photos of the city. I choose the last option but I will certainly be back. Really nice place.
